With over 14 years in policy and land development approvals, Christine has extensive experience with development application processes and has worked in a number of municipalities, townships, and counties across Ontario. As the founding partner of Q9 Planning + Design, Christine is the lead project manager for all files, is a qualified expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal, manages and coordinates development application approvals, prepares feasibility studies, coordinates and secures development approvals and advises and assists clients and organizations with decision making and issue management. Working alongside Lloyd Phillips for the first decade of her career, she learned every aspect of land use planning, project management, and business development and management. Following her Political Science undergraduate degree, she obtained a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University. Christine volunteers her time as a member of the Ontario Institute of Professional Planner’s, Professional Knowledge Exchange Committee.
DAYNA EDWARDS

Partner, Senior Planner, Urban Designer
With over 14 years in municipal policy and land development approvals, Dayna is able to successfully coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and work with clients and approval agencies to build communities. Dayna provides strategic advice to private sector clients on matters of urban planning, design and land development. As a leader in urban design she brings that lens to her work. Dayna’s experience in development review and policy and urban design review is focused on Ontario’s mid-sized city experience, as she has experience working in Ottawa, Kitchener, Kingston and Hamilton. She was the co-author of Kitchener Urban Design Manual and Tall Building Design Guidelines and a leader on the ION station area planning projects. Dayna volunteers her time as a member of Hamilton’s Urban Design Review Panel and the Canadian Institute of Planning’s Honours and Awards Jury.
